Designing Spaces. Capturing Stories
MADA is an interdisciplinary design studio based in The Hague, specializing in architecture, interior design, and photography, creating spaces and visuals that foster a deeper connection between people and their environments.
Approach
From architecture and interior design to visual storytelling through photography, MADA blends creativity with technical precision to craft designs that respond to context, culture, and sustainability. Every project tells a unique story - whether through built spaces or visual narratives. Our mission is to bring together design, photography, and human experience to create spaces and images that inspire, connect, and endure.
ARCHITECTURE
We approach architecture as a way of understanding and shaping the places around us. Every project starts with its context: the people, surroundings, needs, and possibilities that shape it.
We believe good design comes from looking closely, asking questions, and finding the right balance between function, character, and experience. Sustainability and a long-term perspective guide our approach.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior architecture starts with understanding how people use and experience a space. We look at the existing qualities, needs, and possibilities of each interior to create spaces that are functional, thoughtful, and connected to their context.
From spatial layouts to materials and details, we consider how each element contributes to the overall experience. Our approach combines practicality, character, and sustainability to create interiors that feel natural and made for the people who use them.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We use photography to capture the character and experience of architecture. By looking at spaces, details, materials, and how people interact with them, we create images that tell the story of a project.
From architecture and interiors to design details and people, our photography is made for documentation, communication, and visual storytelling.
